10/03/2010 - Tim visited Queen Anne’s School in Caversham

Tim visited Queen Anne’s School on World Book Day, Thursday 4 March 2010, to give talks and run workshops with students from the lower school. Tim spoke about how he began as a writer and focused on creative writing techniques. He also judged Queen Anne's Creative Writing Competition.

Tim has visited the school before and said, 'As with my last visit, I thoroughly enjoyed my day at Queen Anne’s School. The staff and students were so friendly and enthusiastic. It was great seeing the pupils and staff dressed up as characters from well-known stories. I also thought the Year 8 girls did particularly well in the writing workshops.’
