24/06/2010 - Tim attended CILIP Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Book Awards 2010

The CILIP Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Book Awards 2010, hosted by James Naughtie, took place at the BAFTA Theatre in Piccadilly, London on 24 June.

The winner of the Carnegie Medal 2010 was Neil Gaiman for his novel The Graveyard Book. Visit the CILIP Carnegie Medal website to see his acceptance speech.

The winner of the Kate Greenaway Medal 2010 was Freya Blackwood for Harry & Hopper. Visit the CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal website to see her acceptance speech.

Tim is seen here with Philip Reeve, who was shortlisted for his novel Fever Crumb. Both are former winners of the Carnegie Medal. Philip won in 2008 for his novel Here Lies Arthur and Tim won in 1998 for River Boy.
