Tim’s Korean publishers, Dasan Books, will be publishing Frozen Fire in January 2010.
Dasan Books are using the internet to promote Frozen Fire and will serialise the first 180 pages (the Korean edition will be approximately 570 pages). 3-4 pages will be added at 10 a.m. every weekday morning to their website. This will run for the eight weeks from 9 November until 31 December.
In addition, Tim has agreed to write a short message each week for six months, giving a flavour of his life for Korean readers. Dasan Books will publish all the messages on their website. Tim's first message is:
'Autumn mists have arrived. I walk to work along lanes drenched in dew. My writing bolthole is silent and surrounded by fallen leaves. On my way home, an owl hunts in the dusk.'
This will be published on Monday 16 November.
Tim said, 'I am thrilled with the way Dasan are publishing my books in Korea and their plans for promoting Frozen Fire are typically creative and original.'
