25/11/2009 - Tim visited Kelly College in Tavistock

Tim visited Kelly College in Tavistock on Wednesday 18th November and talked to the pupils about how he became a writer. He also encouraged them to believe in themselves and in their imaginations when writing their own stories.

Val Lanyon Jones, Head of English, said, 'What a wonderful day we all had yesterday. Tim's visit was such a success – everyone is talking about it!'

Val also said that two pupils reported to her, ‘You’ll never guess what’s happening. It’s so quiet in the school – everyone is reading Tim Bowler’s books!’

Tim enjoyed the warm hospitality at Kelly College and said, 'It was a treat to work with such enthusiastic pupils.'
