01/03/2010 - Tim visited Ivybridge Community College in Devon

Tim visited Ivybridge Community College on Monday 1 March 2010 to give talks and run workshops with Year 7, 8 and 9 students as part of the College's annual Book Week.

The Book Week was organised by the Learning Resources Centre and included a whole range of activities involving visits from artist Sonia Leong, authors Chris Higgins and Sophie Mackenzie, staff reading extracts from popular authors, quizzes and wordsearches, and of course a visit from Tim.

Tim has visited the College many times over the years and said, 'As always I had a great day at Ivybridge College. The staff and pupils are so friendly and enthusiastic and there's a real buzz about books.'
