Tim joined other authors, poets and illustrators, including Gervase Phinn, David Nobbs, Philippa Gregory and Dame Stella Rimington, at the fourth Scarborough Literature Festival. The themes of the four-day event were espionage, fantasy, romance and menace with more than twenty-five individual events taking place.

Tim talked about ‘Dangerous Worlds’ with poet and writer James Nash on Sunday 18 April. The conversation explored how the very best literature for young adults incorporates challenging themes. Tim also gave a reading of the first chapter from Blade: Playing Dead.
