12/06/2010 - Tim talks about ‘How to write for teenagers’ at The Nairn Book & Arts Festival

Tim joined other authors including Carol Ann Duffy, Christopher Brookmyre and A.L. Kennedy at The Nairn Book and Arts Festival. The Festival is a celebration of literature, drama, art and film set along the shores of the Moray Firth and included author events (in English and Gaelic) as well as exhibitions and workshops.

On 11 June Tim spoke to pupils at Nairn Academy about his books and also ran a workshop (see photo) for a talented group of student writers. On 12 June he ran a second workshop, this time for adults wishing to write for teenagers.

Tim said, ‘All three events were hugely enjoyable and I was particularly impressed by the quality of the writing produced by those taking part in the two workshops.’
