Tim took part in the Oxford Literary Festival on Saturday 24 March, joining a panel with fellow authors Patrick Ness, Sally Nicholls and Moira Young to discuss how writers tackle some of the life and death issues when writing for the young. The discussion was superbly chaired by nineteen-year-old student Rebecca Clee. The authors discussed a wide range of topics, including character, theme, genre, audience, and darkness in teenage fiction.
