25/01/2012 - Tim invited to Emirates Airline Festival of Literature 2012

Tim has been invited to The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature which takes place from 6-10 March 2012 in Dubai. The Festival is the Middle East’s largest celebration of the written and spoken word, bringing people of all ages together with authors from across the world to promote education, debate and, above all else, reading.

The programme features 120 authors and 150+ different sessions. Tim will be involved in four of the events.

The first is a masterclass entitled Creative Writing for Young Adults. Tim will talk about how to start writing, how to structure a book, develop a plot and create realistic characters.

In the second, Tim will join David Almond, Noura Al Noman and Darren Shan and discuss Writing for the Young Adult market. Festival Director, Isobel Abulhoul, will chair this event.

In The Master of the Psychological Thriller: Blood and Blade, Tim will talk about his work, inspiration, about how his ideas are formed and how they turn into characters and plot.

Tim will also spend a day speaking to pupils at schools in Dubai.
