10/01/2011 - River Boy used for Korean College Scholastic Ability Test
Every year students in Korea have to take the College Scholastic Ability Test in order to enter college or university. The College Scholastic Ability Test, also known as Suneung, is a type of standardized test and is managed by the Korea Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation.
This year the English test included a section from River Boy.
Tim said, 'I feel really proud to think of River Boy being used in this way. I just hope the questions the students are asked about the text aren't so difficult it puts them off ever reading the book!'
