23/01/2012 - Buried Thunder shortlisted for Rotherham Children’s Book Teen Read Award 2012

Tim has just received news that Buried Thunder has been shortlisted for the 2012 Rotherham Children’s Book Teen Read Award. The Rotherham Children's Book Awards is a culmination of a year long process for schools to promote a love of reading using the best books released that year.

The full shortlist for the Teen Award consists of:

Buried Thunder - Tim Bowler
Boys Don't Cry – Marjorie Blackman
Dancing Jax - Robin Jarvis
Unleashed - Ali Sparkes

This is the 12th year for the Rotherham Children’s Book Award and includes five categories - Teen Read, Upper KS2/KS3, KS1 / Lower KS2, Picture Books and Imagination Library. In 2011 over 40 schools attended the Awards Ceremony. Tim will be attending the Awards Ceremony which takes place this year on Wednesday 20 June 2012.
