@chennessybooks @tim_bowler maybe this is wishful thinking - I certainly wish he could be the most influential, although I know he's not quite as well known as some of the other authors mentioned here!
@chennessybooks I'd make the case for @tim_bowler - YA books that don't shy away from difficult issues, whilst being beautifully written and wonderfully imaginative, and also aren't 'typical' - not just fantasy and not just teen angst, a beautiful blend of the two - Midget especially is amazing!
