Tim one of the highlights of Hay Festival Segovia 2015
Wednesday, 16th September, 2015
Tim will be talking at the Hay Festival Segovia 2015, which takes place from 24-27 September 2015.
Segovia Hay Festival celebrates its tenth anniversary with a vibrant and varied programme that focuses on Spanish talent, looks to Europe, explores Arab culture and discusses issues such as the role of women in the arts, and the future of the media, particularly reporting on culture.
Talks, exhibitions, concerts, film screenings and performances are held in palaces, convents, churches, gardens, courtyards, museums and mansions throughout the city. Festival director Sheila Cremaschi said, ‘I see the festival as a sprawling democratic forum. We’re not just a literary festival; it’s all about ideas.’
Tim will be taking part in two events. The first will take place in the morning of Friday 25th September for a 14 to 18-year-old student audience. The talk will be about how to keep the reader hooked all through the story. Tim will use Night Runner and Game Changer to illustrate his talk. The event is chaired by writer Xohana Bastida.
The second will be a discussion with fellow author Sadie Jones in the afternoon of Saturday 26th September. The talk will be chaired by novelist and journalist Berna González Harbour.
The Telegraph identified 15 highlights of Hay Segovia, which included philosopher AC Grayling, politician Nick Clegg, poet Owen Sheers and Tim.
